ion while other metal ions (Zn

, Co

or Mn

) were accommodated in peripheral positions. The magnetic interactions, anisotropy and magnetization of the resultant clusters were all influenced by the combinations of metal ions present.
Wheel-type heptanuclear heterometallic clusters display metal ion dependent ferromagnetic properties and express single molecule magnet behavior based on the magnetic anisotropy. |
