Zusammenfassung:The migration of Me 3 Si groups ("Wanderlust") in rare-earth triple-decker sandwich complexes of the type Ln 2 (COT′′) 3 (COT′′ = bis(trimethylsilyl)cyclooctatetraenyl) has been elucidated by a combined experimental and computational study. For the first time, two isomers of a Ln 2 (COT′′) 3 triple-decker have been isolated and characterized in the case of Y 2 (COT′′) 3 .
