Zusammenfassung:A fluorescent probe for detecting nitric oxide has been designed based on dihydropyridine which acts as a switch-on unit. The optical properties of the probe feature a low background and high selectivity. Cellular assay revealed a significant response to nitric oxide produced in Raw 264.7 cells. A fluorescence probe for detecting nitric oxide based on dihydropyridine showed high selectivity and sensitivity as well as cell imaging ability.
