Zusammenfassung:Er 3+ ions doped α-KYb 3 F 10 thin films were obtained from aqueous solutions through electrodeposition near room temperature. The annealed films show almost single band red emission excited by a 980 nm laser and a two photon up conversion mechanism is involved. Annealed α-KYb 3 F 10 :Er 3+ (2 mol%) films grown through electrodeposition from aqueous solutions at low temperature show nearly single intense red emission excited by a 980 nm laser.
