Zusammenfassung:The present study reports an environmentally friendly and green synthetic method for the preparation of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using Ferula latisecta leaf extract which acts as a reducing and capping agent that can reduce silver ions into Ag NPs without using any harsh conditions. In addition, these nanoparticles were found to have excellent catalytic activity in the simple and safe one-pot preparation of spirooxindoles in water. This procedure has many advantages including operational simplicity, excellent yields, short reaction times, low cost, and green conditions. In this research, Ag nanoparticles were prepared via plant extract and applied as an efficient catalyst in a three component reaction for the synthesis of spirooxindols.
