Zusammenfassung:A (3,24)-connected rht -type metal organic framework (MOF Cu-UBTA ) containing a urea group was readily prepared by the solvothermal reaction between a hexacarboxylate ligand and Cu(NO 3 ) 2 . Gas sorption investigations demonstrated its high porosity and high uptake capacities for CO 2 and H 2 . Moreover, the MOF can act as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for Friedel-Crafts alkylation of N -methyl pyrrole or indole with nitroalkenes. A urea decorated rht -MOF exhibited high gas uptake for CO 2 and H 2 and functioned as a heterogeneous catalyst for Friedel-Crafts reactions.
