Zusammenfassung: | Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), as one of the most attractively porous types of materials, have been drawing immense interest because of their intriguing architectures and potential applications. Among them, heterometallic metal-organic frameworks (HMOFs) have become a rapidly emerging research area, as they combine the advantages of both MOFs and lanthanide-transition metal (Ln-TM) heterometals, and much effort has been devoted to their syntheses and related applications in the past decade. This highlight focuses on the design and construction of lanthanide-copper (Ln-Cu) HMOFs, including their synthetic strategies, structural features and diverse applications.
