They exhibit intense visible-light absorption due to a narrow band gap and high visible-light photocatalytic activity for degradation of methyl orange. Novel single-phase Bi 1.647 Nb 1.118 Fe 1.157 O 7 nanoparticles with a narrow band gap and intense visible-light photocatalytic activity have been developed.
