Pan-Slavic Parallels in the Music of Stravinsky and Szymanowski
The similarities in the music composed by Russian composer Igor Stravinsky and Polish composer Karol Szymanowski in the early 20th century are presented. It is suggested that the parallels arose from a shared Pan-Slavic culture, overriding their different nationalities.
