Zusammenfassung: | Besides COVID awareness, we have been working with the Johnson County, Kan., Department of Health and Environment on general health education. Composed of physicians representing hospitals, medical schools, and private practices throughout Kansas City, the Leadership Council is the forum that takes the pulse of area physicians and identifies issues for KCMS to pursue. On the Foundation side, we have continued to serve hundreds of uninsured patients each year through the Metro Care and Wy Jo Care programs, overcoming pandemic-related challenges. |
