[...]well-prepared faculties are needed to support the adjustment of Gen Z students. Crede and Niehorster (2) identified eight key factors contributing to college adjustment: i) demographic characteristics; ii) achievement in the previous school; iii) college life experiences; iv) self-evaluation and personal traits; v) affective state; vi) coping strategy; vii) social support and viii) relationship with parents. Domain of College Adjustment In the academic adjustment portion of this theme, the students reported being challenged by tight schedules, various learning activities, high volume of learning content, development of learning strategies, assessments, language barriers, coordination of multiple tasks and new learning environments. |
