Zusammenfassung:Millions of people are affected by menial health concerns each year. Recent studies show that 50% of all lifetime menial illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24. Yet, the topic of mental health remains seldom discussed. Although not a taboo, it is usually associated with a negative stigma. The uncertainly and isolation of the global pandemic has exacerbated feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. Here, Aitkaliyeva et al examine the mental health issues in academia.
