Clinical outcomes of patients with mild COVID-19 following treatment with hydroxychloroquine in an outpatient setting

•The study did not report any exclusion criteria.•Why the patients with a negative RT-PCR test received Hydroxychloroquine therapy?•Hospitalization and mortality benefits with HCQ even when RT-PCR is negative? We appreciate the efforts of the authors in their study on the clinical outcome of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) therapy in mild coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) (Mokhtari et al., 2021). We would like to make some comments based on our understanding of the study.
