Zusammenfassung:	Calvillo-Argüelles and Ross discuss the cardiac considerations in patients with COVID-19. Among the cardiac considerations include the importance of cardiac biomarkers for risk stratification, the occurrence of myocardial infarction (MI) without obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD) and the association of cardiac complications with poor outcomes. Also cited are the need for treatment to be directed at specific causes of myocardial injury and occurrence of cardiac injury in about a-quarter of patients with COVID-19 who are admitted to hospitals.
