Zusammenfassung: | Geriatric psychiatrists across the US engaged in an extensive, informal series of communications during the earliest days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Conversations largely focused on how to best adapt clinical services to digital platforms while maintaining quality of graduate medical education. Here, Parker et al. present a thematic analysis of these digital correspondences. The following quotes and insights were not selected based on any formal methodological approach and do not reflect a comprehensive representation of formal geriatric psychiatry leadership. Rather, they capture an ad hoc series of voices and opinions of how geriatric psychiatrists may face the numerous challenges of COVID-19 together. |
