Zusammenfassung:Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships between metabolic syndrome and markers of heart rate variability (HRV) in chronic schizophrenic inpatients Methods A total of 99 schizophrenic inpatients was included in this study. Metabolic syndrome of patients was defined according to the revised NCEP-ATP III criteria. HRV was measured by SA-3000P (Medi-core, Seoul, Korea).
