The objectives are as follows: Primary objective To assess the effects of skincare interventions, such as emollients, for prevention of eczema and food allergy in infants. Secondary objectives To ascertain whether active skincare interventions, commenced in early infancy, influence risk of developing eczema or food allergy To identify features of the study populations such as age, hereditary risk and adherence to the interventions, which are associated with the greatest treatment benefit or harm for both eczema and food allergy
