Zusammenfassung:	This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effectiveness of chemotherapy in patients with newly diagnosed inoperable brain metastases (BM) from non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in terms of brain response rate, overall survival (OS), progression‐free survival (PFS), health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) and treatment related toxic events.
