Prehabilitation versus no prehabilitation to improve functional capacity, reduce postoperative complications and improve quality of life in colorectal cancer surgery

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effectiveness of a (multimodal) prehabilitation program versus no prehabilitation for colorectal cancer patients undergoing resection. We will study whether prehabilitation is safe and effective to enhance functional capacity, to reduce postoperative complications and to improve quality of life.
