Current Level of Glycemic Control and Clinical Inertia in Subjects Using Insulin for the Treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic: Results of a Multinational, Multicenter, Observational Survey (DIAINFORM)

Introduction The aim of the study was to determine the level of metabolic control in type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Methods A non-interventional prospective (observational) study was conducted from January 2015 until April 2016 in routine clinical practice settings at 141 centers in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
