A multidisciplinary Expert Group constituted by the Secretary, Department of Health Research (DHR) and Director-General (DG), Indian Council of Medical Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, reviewed the available evidence globally regarding immunogenicity and efficacy, adverse effects and cost-effectiveness of the HPV vaccine. HPV infections, precancerous lesions and anogenital warts A systematic review of 20 studies from nine high-income countries analyzed the risk reduction in the HPV infection and anogenital warts in the vaccinated cohorts[9].
