Zusammenfassung:	Highlights • Important Persons (IPs) predict drug and alcohol recovery and HIV risk. • The Modified Important People and Activities (MIPA) interview details IP influence on recovery, but may be biased in recall. • We investigated 6- and 12-month reliability and predictors of MIPA recall data. • Most IPs were recalled, though predictors of recall/omission were substantive. • IP detail reliability was good to excellent, except IP reactions to drugs/alcohol.
