Subtypes of depressive symptoms and inflammatory biomarkers: An exploratory study on a sample of HIV-positive patients
Highlights • Three sub-types of depressive symptoms were identified. • Somatic/cognitive-affective symptoms were associated with daily life impairment. • Severe somatic symptoms were associated with high levels of Il-6 and monocytes. • HIV viral load correlates with TNF-alpha and monocyte.
