Zusammenfassung:	Highlights • This study examined leukocyte telomere length (LTL) among African American men. • We examined LTL in relation to racial discrimination and mental health factors. • Anxiety is a risk factor for short telomeres among African American men. • Racial discrimination is related to shorter LTL, but only among those with low levels of low depression. • Psychosocial stress experienced by African American men negatively impacts LTL.
