The p75 neurotrophin receptor augments survival signaling in the striatum of pre-symptomatic Q175WT/HD mice
Highlights • Increased survival signaling in pre-symptomatic Q175 mice abolished by p75 deletion. • Q175WT/HD ;p75−/− mice have decreased expression of XIAP, Bcl-XL, and DARPP-32. • Q175WT/HD ;p75−/− mice have a more advanced decrease in striatal volume.
