Zusammenfassung:Micro-Abstract: Activation of the phosphatidylinositide-3-kinase/mammalian target of rapamycin and Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription pathways are described in inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) preclinical data. This retrospective analysis of IBC and invasive ductal carcinoma tumor tissues treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy showed pathway activity compared with untreated invasive ductal carcinoma, which suggests a potential mechanism of resistance and supports a potential role for targeting these pathways in prospective studies.
