Zusammenfassung:	The cDNA for the complete polymerase (P) gene of Sendai virus (strain Fushimi; ATCC no. VR-105, Sendai/52) was cloned and sequenced by using specific oligonucleotide primers. In comparison with two reported sequences for the Z and Harris strains, the Fushimi strain showed 17 and 5 nucleotide differences resulting in 4 and 2 amino acid differences, respectively.
