Zusammenfassung:	The rrn operons of soybean chloroplast DNA were mapped in the IRs. The 16S-23S rRNA intergenic spacer was sequenced the authors show the RNA-like DNA strand (2kbp) containing the tRNA-Val (GAC) and the 16S rRNA gene. Sequence similarities with corresponding regions of spinach and maize range around 95%. The promotor element (P2) of the tRNA-Val gene is preserved; The -10 element of the rRNA promotor is preserved, but the -35 element (P3) is partially deleted.
