Zusammenfassung:	An EMBL3 clone containing the C. albicans aspartyl proteinase (PrA ) gene has been identified through hybridization with a S. cerevisiae PrA probe. The authors report here the sequence of the C. albicans gene and flanking regions. Nucleotide sequence conservation between the yeast and C. albicans genes is 72% within the structural gene.
