Human retina D2 receptor cDNAs have multiple polyadenylation sites and differ from a pituitary clone at the 5' non-coding region
An oligonucleotide probe, based on the rat brain D2 receptor cDNA was used to isolate two clones (11.1 and 11.2) from a human retina cDNA library. Their coding sequence displayed almost 100% homology with the corresponding region of a previously published D2 receptor cDNA clone isolated from human p...

Zusammenfassung: | An oligonucleotide probe, based on the rat brain D2 receptor cDNA was used to isolate two clones (11.1 and 11.2) from a human retina cDNA library. Their coding sequence displayed almost 100% homology with the corresponding region of a previously published D2 receptor cDNA clone isolated from human pituitary. The first 45 bp of the 5' non-coding region of clone 11.1 differ from the corresponding region of pituitary clone 14.1 indicating that the two cDNAs are splicing variants. |
