Zusammenfassung: | Nucleic Acids Research 9, 183–188, January 1981 On Pages 186 and 187, the three sentences: “This tRNA, like E. coli tRNA m Met , which is the only prokaryotic tRNA m Met of known sequence, contains 76 nucleotides. Eukaryotic tRNA m Met (yeast, rabbit liver and mouse myeloma) all contain 75 nucleotides. Sp. chl. tRNA m Met also shows considerably more homology with prokaryotic tRNA m Met (67% homology) than with eukaryotic tRNA m Met (50–55% homology).” should be substituted by the following sentences: “This tRNA, like the three known eukaryotic methionine elongator tRNAs (yeast rabbit liver and mouse myeloma) contains 76 nucleotides. E. coli tRNA m Met , which is the only prokaryotic methionine elongator of known sequence, contains 77 nucleotides. Sp.chl. tRNA m Met , however, shows considerably more homology with prokaryotic tRNA m Met (67% homology) than with eukaryotic tRNA m Met (50–55% homology).” |
