Zusammenfassung:Ventricular tachycardia has been reported after blunt cardiac trauma in both children and adults. However, to the best of our knowledge, there are no reports of sudden onset of ventricular tachycardia at the time of surgical closure of gastroschisis. This case describes a patient with gastroschisis who developed a medically resistant ventricular tachycardia upon reduction of the gastroschisis.
