Zusammenfassung:Lymphatic malformation is an uncommon anomaly that commonly occurs in the posterior triangles of infants. The case presented here was an adult male patient with swelling in submental region. This site often leads to misdiagnosis of other common pathology including plunging ranula or lipoma. However, USG and MRI were done for diagnosis of the lesion by which final diagnosis of lymphatic malformation was made. Surgical excision was carried out and histopathology confirmed the primary diagnosis. No recurrence is seen in one and half year follow-up period.
