Zusammenfassung:Recently, there has been major interest in the identification of biomarkers of early cognitive impairment that may be used to predict subsequent conversion to Alzheimer disease; the data acquired by Chen et al suggest that resting-state functional MR imaging may offer another image-based method to complement promising results arising from quantitative morphometric analysis of anatomic MR images, such as those from recent analyses of the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative trial.
