Zusammenfassung:	The case of a previously healthy 23-year-old female developed a painful necrotizing wound approximately 5 days after a caesarean section is presented. Based on appearance and lack of clinical improvement after the initiation of broad spectrum antibiotics, a presumptive diagnosis of pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) was made, and a regimen of cyclosporine therapy was initiated to treat the condition.
