Zusammenfassung:The following is a description of a Physical Examination Reporting System which was developed in cooperation with physicians from the Department of Family Practice and the Department of Preventive Medicine, Texas Tech University School of Medicine, Lubbock, Texas. This system was designed to evaluate what effect such a report would have on the practice of medicine in underserved areas with regard to health benefit, medical impact, and economic impact. The set of observations was assembled over a three month period by utilizing techniques previously developed in this area as well as the expertise of the TTUSM faculty. This system was developed for impact evaluation purposes. Its actual daily use may require changes in the form, in method of entry, and in format of the report.
