[...]there is great cultural diversity in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and not all will hold such beliefs.\n Although the examples of health worker training programmes given above were considered to be successful within their respective States, a more nationally coordinated approached would help to ensure that the most effective programmes are implemented and that lessons learned from programme implementation are shared across communities. 25 The NACCHO report called for urgent, collaborative, national coordination.
