Zusammenfassung:Grey-scale ultrasonography has been found to be the most sensitive method of detecting metastatic disease of the liver. In two cases the results of chemotherapy were monitored by ultrasound; the response to treatment could be distinguished from non-response and ultrasonography gave useful information when chemotherapy made radioisotope examination unreliable.
