Zusammenfassung:	With the "Mid-Atlantic" strain of rabies (often referred to as "Raccoon rabies") approaching the borders of Canada, there is great interest in the subject of rabies in raccoons in eastern Canada. For this reason, the diagnostic records at the Animal Diseases Research Institute (ADRI) were reviewed to document the prevalence of rabies in raccoons over the past 31 y.
