Zusammenfassung:Percutaneous transluminal balloon angioplasty was performed in five children with coarctation restenosis. After angioplasty the pressure gradient had decreased considerably in four patients. In all patients aortography showed an increase in the diameter of the lumen at the site of the restenosis. All patients were normotensive the day after angioplasty. There were no complications during or after the procedure.
