Zusammenfassung:Eight apixaban-treated patients underwent emergency surgery for acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD). Intraoperative hemoadsorption using the CytoSorb hemoadsorptive device was applied. Apixaban concentrations were measured using ultraperformance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS) after 5, 15, 30, 60, and 90 min, at CPB weaning, 30 min after CPB weaning, and 24 h postoperatively. The figure was partly generated using Servier Medical Arts (www.smart.servier.com) and The Noun Project (www.thenounproject.com).
