Zusammenfassung: | Horner et al. investigated the quality of care given by neurologists against non-neurologists in treating stroke patients. It is an important study in specialist care. It should be pointed out, however, that most patients admitted to other departments also have a neurologist as a consultant. The decision to place stroke patients under the care of neurologists is done for specific purposes. Other factors to be considered are the availability of neurologists and their perceptions that a complete neurological examination is needed. |
