Relapsing polychondritis mimicking rheumatoid arthritis

A woman with relapsing polychondritis presented with progressive and deforming polyarthritis (but always negative for rheumatoid factor) 14 years before the appearance of typical clinical and histological changes of nasal and auricular cartilage destruction.
