Zusammenfassung:Sorry, there is no abstract. Read the first few lines of the text instead! The CD19 is a 95-kD transmembrane pan-B lymphocyte marker. It serves as a cell surface response regulator that establishes signaling thresholds critical for B lymphocyte development, activation and proliferation. CD19 enhances membrane IgM signaling and is required for B lymphocyte antibody responses to T-dependent antigens . Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis revealed a polymorphic site in exon 4 of CD19 at proline 235, without changing the amino acid with an observed heterozygosity of 0.42. Thus the biological significance of this polymorphic site remains unknown.
