AN UNUSUAL TERATOMA OF THE OVARY: NEUROGENIC CYST WITH LACTATING BREAST TISSUE

An unusual benign cystic teratoma of the ovary in a young gravid woman is reported. The cyst lining of the teratoma consisted solely of neuroglial tissue, and the small amount of solid tubercle tissue was composed almost entirely of lactating breast parenchyma. Both of these pathologic features are extremely rare and their combination is conspicuously unique.
