Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A generalized convulsion and consumptive coagulopathy with generalized hemorrhage occurred in a patient 21 weeks pregnant 16 hours after intra-amniotic injection of hypertonic saline and immediately after complete abortion. Serial studies of coagulation factors were consistent with disscminated intravascular coagulation. Neurologic evaluation revealed no obvious cause for the seizure. Blood volume replacement and supportive therapy were followed by total recovery, supporting the self-limited feature of this syndrome.
