Zusammenfassung: | A study has been done to evaluate the gynecologic disorders related to drug dependency. Forty consecutive patients admitted to the Detoxification Unit of the New Jersey Medical School were submitted to careful general physical examination, pelvic evaluation, and extensive laboratory study. We noted a high incidence of amenorrhea, hypomenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, and other menstrual aberrations. Other gynecologic complaints noted weregalactorrhea, dysmenorrhea, infertility, pelvic inflammation, venereal disease, and changes in sexual behavior. |
