Zusammenfassung:Summary The effect of repeated doses of 0.25 mg. terbutaline by inhalation given at intervals of 15 to 20 minutes on FEV1 and airways resistance have been observed in 15 patients with labile airways obstruction. It was found that an increase in FEV1 occurred after the first and second doses but not after the third and fourth. Airways resistance fell over the same period but continued to fall slightly thereafter up to the fifth dose. Cardiovascular effects were minimal.
