Hepatomas Induced by Aflatoxin in the Sockeye Salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka)

Hepatomas were induced in the sockeye salmon by a diet containing 12 parts per billion aflatoxin B1 and 50 parts per million cyclo-propenoid fatty acids. This is the first published record of diet-induced hepatoma in any species of Pacific salmon.
