Zusammenfassung: | Precipitating rabbit antiserum reacting with the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) formed a band of identity with normal colon extract (NCE), tumor extract (TE) and meconium extract (ME) in Ouchterlony gel. Absorption with normal colon only reduced activity with NCE in the precipitation assay. Assays using quantitative complement fixation at final antibody titers suggest that molecular differences exist between NCE, ME and CEA. Their molecular relationships are currently being investigated in delayed hypersensitivity systems and by physico-chemical analyses. |
